About LogosPharos
LogosPharos is an independent Eastern Orthodox Christian website for studying Scripture, the Church Fathers and Orthodox tradition. You can find the website at https://logospharos.living/.
How LogosPharos began
I’m RealCodeGr, and I’m from Greece. I created LogosPharos in the summer of 2026.
What you can find here
- An Orthodox AI assistant for questions about the faith, with source safeguards and disclosed limitations.
- A Bible reader with passage navigation and optional explanations.
- Study at your own pace: Three self-paced paths and four themed collections. Read, reflect and return when you wish.
- A public-domain patristic library: 2,081 reading units across 120 collections by 11 authors, hosted on this website. Reading units are sections, chapters or homilies, not separate complete books.
- Orthodox prayers, a church calendar and saint profiles with selected readings.
- A community forum for public discussion.
The interface and AI replies support English, Greek, Russian, Macedonian, Italian and Tamil. Library readings retain their historical English wording. The pre-rendered library can be read without an account, JavaScript or an AI request.
Sources and limitations
The assistant consults Scripture and library material first, trusted Orthodox web sources second, and disclosed general AI training only as a last resort. AI replies can contain errors and are not official Church teaching or a substitute for a priest.
The library contains historical public-domain translations, not modern critical editions. See the edition and rights register for attribution and copyright qualifications. LogosPharos is independent and does not claim official Church endorsement.
For personal spiritual guidance, speak with your priest. For information about using the website, read the Terms and Privacy Policy.
