Designed library covers, not original edition covers.
Cover images combine historical edition pages and public-domain or CC0 saint artwork. Cropping and printing differences are recorded below.
- Saint Philaret of Moscow: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. The scanned copy is the Harper & Brothers 1896 printing; a blind-embossed UCLA library stamp appears mid-page. No scenic edition statement was found in the front matter, and the register's Sixth Edition label is kept without equating it to the 1896 printing, since general bibliography dates a later sixth edition to 1931; the cover row records only the verbatim imprint of the scanned copy.

Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Parallel New York printing of the Edinburgh T&T Clark 1895 volume named by the register. This item's IA metadata year is an imprecise 1890; the printed title page reads 1895 and was used as the authoritative evidence. The alternate candidate selectlibraryofn0008phil is a copy of the same 1895 New York printing.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Johnchrysostom.jpg - Saint John Chrysostom: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. This copy is the volume's only scanned candidate. A very faint ex-libris ghost is visible near the middle of the leaf. Printed year 1888 matches the catalog firstEditionYear 1888; the register string carries the series default year 1886.
https://archive.org/details/selectlibraryofn10auguuoft - Saint John Chrysostom: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Clean title page with slightly worn corners. Printed year 1889 matches the catalog firstEditionYear 1889; the register string names Edinburgh: T&T Clark without a year, so this scan is a parallel New York printing of the registered series volume.
https://archive.org/details/nicenepostnicene0011unse_g8q1 - Saint John Chrysostom: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Parallel New York printing of the Edinburgh T&T Clark 1889 volume named by the register. Faint pale ex-libris ghost near the top and old tape remnants at the left edge; the imprint text itself is clean. The preceding leaf confirms the title through mirrored bleed-through.
https://archive.org/details/selectlibraryofn12auguuoft - Saint John Chrysostom: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Hosted scan is the 1956 Eerdmans photographic reprint of this series volume (photolithographed by Cushing-Malloy, Inc., Ann Arbor, Michigan, 1956, as stated on that copy's notice leaf; both IA candidates, including nicenefathers13unknuoft, are 1956 Eerdmans reprints). The hosted transcription follows the original public-domain 1889 Oxford translation as issued by the Edinburgh Clark / New York Christian Literature printings named in the register; no clean 1889 scan was available. The cover text is reproduced exactly as printed.
https://archive.org/details/selectlibraryofn13auguuoft - Saint John Chrysostom: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. This corrected alternate copy was adopted after its first candidate (aselectlibraryof14unknuoft, leaf 4) proved to carry the same Scribner imprint together with a large library stamp and a torn edge. The title page carries no year; the copyright page of the same copy (leaf 5) reads Copyright, 1889, by The Christian Literature Company. Printed in the United States of America, above a Scribner Press device, so this is a Scribner-press printing of the Christian Literature Company 1889 edition. A large University of St. Michael's College library stamp sits at the lower right of the title page.
https://archive.org/details/selectlibraryofn14auguuoft - Saint Clement of Rome: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Clean copy of the 1887 Buffalo printing of the American edition, adopted over the first candidate (antenicenefather0001reva_v0f7, leaf 4, 1886 imprint) which carries a 1962 Theological Union Graduate Library stamp and handwriting. The register records first publication 1885 to 1886; this scan is the 1887 issue of the same Buffalo edition family.
https://archive.org/details/antenicenefathers01robe - Saint Polycarp of Smyrna: PravoslavnyChristianin. CC0. Cropped to the artwork and resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Saint_Irenaeus_of_Lyons.png - Saint Gregory the Wonderworker: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Printed year 1886 matches the catalog firstEditionYear 1886; the register string does not state a year. A handwritten accession number (42880) sits at the lower right; the imprint text is clean.
https://archive.org/details/antenicenefather06robeuoft - Saint Augustine of Hippo: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. Title page reads Buffalo: The Christian Literature Company, 1886; the catalog register string reads New York: Christian Literature Publishing Co., 1886. This second scanned copy was adopted because its title page carries only light pencil annotations, while the first copy (aselectlibraryof01unknuoft, leaf 4) carries a violet library ink stamp. Copyright page of the first copy reads Copyright, 1886, by The Christian Literature Company, electrotyped and printed by Rand Avery Company, Boston.
https://archive.org/details/selectlibraryofn01auguuoft - Saint John of Kronstadt: Historical edition scan, Internet Archive. Public domain. Resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded. The cover image is the sepia frontispiece portrait of Saint John of Kronstadt printed in this copy of the 1897 Cassell edition; the title page of the same copy (leaf 8) supplied the verbatim imprint above and carries a faint Wycliffe College library stamp. The portrait leaf itself is clean.
https://archive.org/details/mylifeinchristex00serguoft - Saint Cyril of Jerusalem (traditional collection attribution): Osip Semenovich Chirikov. Public domain. Cropped to the artwork and resized for the designed cover; JPEG encoded.
